Originally from Wenatchee, Washington, Reggie Mace brings a unique blend of creativity, technical expertise, and community focus to Stack Rock Group. With a BFA in Studio Arts from Walla Walla University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Idaho, Reggie’s path to landscape architecture has been shaped by a passion for placemaking and ecological integration.

While studying architecture, Reggie realized his true calling was in improving the commons—designing public spaces that blend ecological diversity with urban life. His graduate thesis explored how urban development can support habitat rather than displace it, which eventually led him to shift from architecture to landscape design.

Reggie lives in Boise with his fiancée, Beth, and their two kids, Margot and Sunny. Outside of work, you’ll find him exploring guerilla urbanism, organizing in the community, reading, or enjoying long walks near the water. A fun fact? He spent eight years as a winemaker and has played music in bands for most of his life.
