In her very first downhill mountain bike race, Darian Westrick placed second in the 2018 Go-Ride Gravity Mountain Bike Series Sundace Showdown at Sundance Mountain Resort in Park City.
Despite heckling, nerves, fear of the unknown and a wicked hangover (I assume) Darian overcame and landed herself on the podium.
